The model Ginga signed by Karl Lagerfeld is powerful! It’s a midsole shoe, with high heels and a very sharp curve to mark the feet. It’s slightly heavier than the others and requires posture when you walk. It’s a very imponent shoe, one you can make a great impression for sure.
It’s not as confortable as low heels, but i would still aprove it because it’s a very different shoe, full of attitude and, if well matched with your wardrobe, an outrageous choice.
I’ve decided to wear my Ginga with a blue dress and a necklace. In case of a cold weather, i opted for a white jacket to break the monochrome effect. The blue Ginga pleased me because it’s the most different shoe in Karl Lagerfeld’s collection for Melissa, and I also liked the tribute to Brazil in form of the stripes colors.
Pants, dresses, suits and many other combinations can be made, but giving the thought that it’s still a formal model, I think it’s ideal for corporate events, partys and celebrations. And here is the look:
About the size, I got a higher number. My shoe size is 6 1/2, but it pressed my fingers a little, so I chose the size 7 instead. It was a little large, but i just putted a shoe sticker on it and fixed the problem.
